A classic and light entree for a lovely meal.
These are easy can be done in a matter of minutes!
Ingredients
- Rock salt
- 12 fresh oysters
- 1 lime cut into wedges
- 1 lemon cut into wedges
- Crushed ice
Sauce
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp finely chopped spring onions
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Instructions
- If frozen allow the oysters to defrost.
- Mix all sauce ingredients together.
- Cut your lime and lemon into small easily squeezable wedges removing the seeds as best you can.
- 10 minutes before serving add the crushed ice to a circular dish and arrange the oysters in a neat circle around the outside facing outwards.
- Add the sauce into a small bowl or dish that fits in the middle of the oysters with a small serving spoon.
- Add the lemon and lime wedges to a separate small dish to serve.
- Add the rock salt to another separate small dish to serve.
