Baked Camembert

Add this to your next cheese board for something a little special!

If you are having a wine and cheese night or maybe a nice meal, we recommend giving this recipe a go!

Ingredients

  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
  • 4 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt (preffered fresh cracked pink rock salt or salt flakes)
  • 1 Tbsp dry white wine
  • Your choice of crackers, dry breadsticks or french mini toast

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to a 160c fan forced and place a baking tray onto the middle shelf.
  2. Remove the packaging from the Camembert and place it into a small ceramic baking dish (just a little wider than the cheese.)
  3. Score a deep chriss-cross pattern on the top rind of the cheese. Pour the dry white wine over the top and sprinkle on the chilli flakes and salt, and insert the leaves of rosemary and thyme into the gaps.
  4. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and arrange your dipping choice around the dish
  6. Serve and enjoy!
