Super Simple Fresh Bruschetta On Sourdough Bread

Perfect for those warmer days when you are craving something fresh!

This bruschetta is not only super simple but it tastes as if you spent a long time preparing it. Bruschetta can really be for any occasion, either as an entree to a meal or a simple picnic lunch!

Ingredients

  • 2 large garlic cloves peeled and minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp fresh chopped basil
  • 2 tomatoes cut up into 1cm cubes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Salted butter
  • 1 Fresh small sourdough loaf

Instructions

  1. Add the garlic, olive oil, basil, tomatoes, salt and pepper into a bowl and mix well until fully combined
  2. Cut the sourdough loaf into 2cm thick pieces and toast until just golden.
  3. Place the toasted sourdough onto a plate and butter the slices on one side.
  4. Add your preferred amount of bruschetta to the buttered side of the toast.
  5. serve straight away and enjoy!
