Perfect for those warmer days when you are craving something fresh!
This bruschetta is not only super simple but it tastes as if you spent a long time preparing it. Bruschetta can really be for any occasion, either as an entree to a meal or a simple picnic lunch!
Ingredients
- 2 large garlic cloves peeled and minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp fresh chopped basil
- 2 tomatoes cut up into 1cm cubes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Salted butter
- 1 Fresh small sourdough loaf
Instructions
- Add the garlic, olive oil, basil, tomatoes, salt and pepper into a bowl and mix well until fully combined
- Cut the sourdough loaf into 2cm thick pieces and toast until just golden.
- Place the toasted sourdough onto a plate and butter the slices on one side.
- Add your preferred amount of bruschetta to the buttered side of the toast.
- serve straight away and enjoy!
