Tamari Roasted Almonds

Gluten-free, keto, paleo, and vegan friendly and not to mention delicious.

Wanting a simple snack to get you through the day or a tasty addition to your next grazing table? try these super simple tamari almonds.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. tamari (gluten free and low sodium)
  • 2 cups raw almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 150c fan forced
  2. On a baking tray line it with baking paper and spread almonds evenly.
  3. Put in the oven for 10 minutes
  4. remove flip over all almonds and then place in the oven for another 10 minutes or until golden brown on the inside (to check this check often and cut an almond in half)
  5. Once cooked remove the almonds from the oven and place into a bowl
  6. Add tamari sauce and stir until all almonds are coated
  7. Add the sesame oil and stir until coated
  8. turn off the oven and placing the almonds back onto the baking tray evenly put them in the oven for another 10 minutes or until dry (checking as to not burn the almonds)
  9. Enjoy!
