Pulled pork rolls for dinner anyone?
Note: We have used scotch fillet but you can also use a boneless pork shoulder!
Ingredients
- 1.3 kg Scotch fillet
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (we Recommend Heinz Smokey BBQ sauce)
- 1/4 cup Chicken stock
- 1/4 apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp of Garlic and herb seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix the garlic and herb seasoning with the salt and rub it into the pork. Place the pork into the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl mix together the bbq sauce, apple cider vinegar and stock, and gently pour into the slow cooker.
- Cover with the lid and cook on low for 9 hours.
- Insert a meat thermometer and check to see if the internal temperature has reached 68c. If not cook for 15-20 minutes at a time until the temperature reaches 68c.
- Remove the pork from the slow cooker. keep 1/2 cup) place the pork on a large plate or bowl and shred the meat using two forks.
- Taste the pork and add more BBQ sauce if you like.
