Tamari Walnuts.

Gluten-free, keto, paleo, and vegan friendly and not to mention delicious.

Wanting a simple snack to get you through the day or a tasty addition to your next grazing table? try these super simple tamari walnuts.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. tamari (gluten-free and low sodium)
  • 2 cups raw walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 150c fan forced
  2. On a baking tray line it with baking paper and spread walnuts evenly.
  3. Put in the oven for 10 minutes
  4. Remove flip over all walnuts and then place in the oven for another 10 minutes or until golden brown on the inside (to check this check often and cut walnut in half)
  5. Once cooked remove from the oven and place into a bowl.
  6. Add tamari sauce and stir until all walnuts are coated.
  7. Add the sesame oil and stir until coated.
  8. Turn off the oven and placing the walnuts back onto the baking tray evenly put them in the oven for another 10 minutes or until dry (checking as to not burn them)
  9. Enjoy!
