Who doesn’t love homemade brownies?
If you enjoy adding something a little extra to your mix we recommend 1/2 a cup of walnuts, white choc chips or even extra dark chocolate.
Ingredients
- 1 cup castor sugar
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder (sifted)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (sifted)
- 1/2 cup dark cooking chocolate roughly chopped
- 3/4 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160c.
- Line a 20cm x 20cm baking dish with baking paper and spray the parchment paper with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, chocolate, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, water, and vanilla.
- Add the dry mix over the wet mix and stir until just combined. (do not over stir)
- Pour the mix into the tin and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45 minutes,
- Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool completely before cutting up. (you can place them in the fridge for 1 hour to speed this up).
- Cut up and Enjoy!
