Warm Honey And Spice Porrige

A warm breakfast for those extra cold winter mornings

Note: We added honey as the sweetener, but if you sugar simply replace the honey with raw sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole raw oats
  • 1 1/4 cup of your preferred milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanillas essence
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. In a small pot over a medium-high heat add in the oats and 1 cup of milk and stir frequently.
  2. Once the mixture comes to a boil reduce the heat and simmer until all of the liquid has been absorbed by the oats.
  3. Turn off the heat and add in vanilla, cinnamon and honey and stir until well mixed through.
  4. Pour into your preferred bowl and pour over the remains milk.
  5. Serve and Enjoy! (be careful as porridge will be very hot)
