Sweet and simple, cook this up for something a little different!
Want to spice this recipe up a little? Add a little hot sauce onto the pineapple before pan-frying. Pineapple with hot sauce goes great in a burger!
Ingredients
- Pineapple (fresh or tinned)
- Vanilla ice cream of your choice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- If your pineapple is fresh, cut it up into slices making sure to remove the outside and the core.
- In a non-stick frypan over medium-high heat melt your butter and brown sugar together. When the butter and brown sugar are hot add in your pineapple and cook until lightly browned or golden.
- Serve up the pineapple and any extra juices from the pan into bowls. Add one or two scoops of vanilla icecream and serve up.
