Steak Cooked In A Rosemary & Garlic Butter.

Juicy steak with one of the best sauces!

Add your preferred side of veggies, potato mash, or salad for a family dinner night or a bbq!

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Steaks (2.5-3cm thick) Any high-grade steaks will work
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 2-3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 80 grams butter at room temperature
  • 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 4 cloves of garlic

Instructions

  1. Allow the steak to come to room temperature 30 minutes – 1 hour
  2. Salt & pepper both sides of the steaks generously, add oil, and massage in salt & pepper.
  3. Using the side of your knife crush the garlic. (this will release the flavour and aroma)Peel off the skin.
  4. Heat a large pan over high heat add enough oil to cover the base of the pan. Once the pan just becomes hot add the steaks making sure they don’t stick.
  5. Allow the steaks to cook on one side until it has formed a golden crust turn over and repeat.
  6. Add the butter, garlic, and rosemary sprigs to the pan.
  7. Sear the edges of the fillet steaks until it forms a light crust.
  8. Baste the steaks in the butter, garlic rosemary mixture, continually spooning the mixture over the steaks, and cook for another 2-3 minutes on each side.
  9. Remove from the heat and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes.
  10. Enjoy!
