Have some over ripe bananas you need to use?
Banana and chocolate have always been a great combination! We almost guarantee these won’t last long.
Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
- 5 ripe bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup almond or oat milk
- 2 eggs
Dry Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup gluten free plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 cup coconut sugar
- 2/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips to sprinkle on top
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180c and grab a baking tin (about 35cm x 25cm or something similar will work fine)and line it with baking paper.
- In a large bowl Mash the bananas and add in all other wet ingredients and mix well.
- Add in all other ingredients and fold in until combined.
- Pour the mix into the prepared baking tray and try to spread it out so it is even, sprinkle to 1/4 cup of chocolate chips on top.
- Place in the oven and bake for 18 minutes or until you can poke with a cake skewer and it comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow to fully cool before removing from the tin and slicing.
