A decadent twist on a Christmas classic!
Chocolately cherry goodness all in one cup!
Ingredients
- 6 Glasses or jars
- 200ml whipping cream (freshly whipped to stiff peaks)
- 3 Large chocolate flake bars
- Pauls double-thick chocolate custard 450g
- Chocolate sponge cake roll 400g
- Morello cherries roughly 300g
- 1 pack (85g) Cherry jelly
Instructions
- Pre-pare the jelly as per packet instructions. In six glasses pour an even amount of jelly in each cup, add 5-6 cherries to the jelly. Place in the fridge until the jelly has fully set.
- In a separate bowl gently break up the sponge cake with your hands. Gently drop the sponge cake evenly into each cup on top of the jelly, adding a few cherries in the middle of the sponge cake.
- Spoon even amounts of the Chocolate custard on top of the sponge cake in each cup, then spoon your preferred amount of whipped cream over the custard.
- Gently break up the chocolate flakes in a separate bowl.
- Add any remaining cherries to the glasses and lightly sprinkle with the broken up chocolate flakes.
- Serve Immediately.
