Creamy Mushroom And Bacon Carbonara

A quick and easy dinner that everyone will love!

A delicious creamy classic, great for a family dinner night or just a quick meal.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams fettuccini
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 brown onion finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 250 grams bacon diced
  • 200 grams button mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp dried chopped mushrooms
  • 300ml double thick cream
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 500 grams grated tasty cheese (Devondale) or your preferred cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccini per packet instructions.
  2. In a seperate saucepan add in oil, once hot fry off the the bacon, onion, garlic, button mushrooms and diced mushrooms until onions are clear, mushrooms are soft and bacon is a little crispy.
  3. Add in the remaining ingredients, including cooked pasta.
  4. Serve and top with shaved parmesan.
  5. Enjoy!
