A warm breakfast for those extra cold winter mornings
Note: We added honey as the sweetener, but if you sugar simply replace the honey with raw sugar.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup whole raw oats
- 1 1/4 cup of your preferred milk
- 1/2 tsp vanillas essence
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
- In a small pot over a medium-high heat add in the oats and 1 cup of milk and stir frequently.
- Once the mixture comes to a boil reduce the heat and simmer until all of the liquid has been absorbed by the oats.
- Turn off the heat and add in vanilla, cinnamon and honey and stir until well mixed through.
- Pour into your preferred bowl and pour over the remains milk.
- Serve and Enjoy! (be careful as porridge will be very hot)
