Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Two Ingredients for a classic desert.

You can really choose how you decorate or add to these! Try sprinkling some nuts or even sprinkles over the chocolate before it sets to add a little something special.

Ingredients

  • 150 grams dark, white, or milk cooking chocolate
  • 250 grams fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries and dry them very well (chocolate will not stick to strawberries if there is any water).
  2. Prepare a baking tray with baking paper.
  3. Microwave the chocolate for 30 seconds intervals, removing and stirring at each 30-second interval, until the chocolate has melted. (be careful not to burn the chocolate).
  4. hold the top of the strawberry and individually dip them and cover them in chocolate. Allowing the excess chocolate to drip off the strawberries before placing them on the baking tray to set. (it’s optional here to double dip the strawberries).
  5. Place in the fridge for at least 15 minutes or until the chocolate has set.
  6. Enjoy!
