Balsamic Strawberries With Vanilla Icecream

These flavours may seem odd but we promise if you give this gourmet recipe a try it will surprise you!

Ingredients

• 450g fresh strawberries cut into quarters and tops cut off
• 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
• 1 Tbsp white sugar
• a pinch of black pepper
• Vanilla ice cream to serve

Instructions

1. In a bowl add the strawberries, balsamic vinegar, and sugar and mix together well.
2. Put it aside and allow the strawberry mix to sit for at least 1 hour. (no more than 3 hours)
3. Just before serving add the black pepper and mix together.
4. Serve with two scoops of vanilla ice cream in each bowl and add your desired amount of the strawberry mix .
